The New England society and culture were influenced by Calvinist theology because Calvinists believed in original sin and the theory of predestination. Predestination is the belief that your path to heaven or hell was already decided by God. They also forebode drunkenness, swearing, theft, and laziness. Trying to create the perfect society so everybody went to heaven.

The people in the south did not believe in predestination. They were not as strict in religion as New England. Had many more slaves than they north because the north had a much stronger work ethic.

Europeans felt with Native Americans as savages. They thought they were devil worshipers because of the human sacrifice. The culture of Native Americans was drastically different from Europeans because they were more down to earth. The Europeans saw this as child like and looked down upon them for their beliefs. They did not covet gold and land they understood what was who's in their community.
They were considered more advanced and were very wealthy. There large city's were more relevant than Native Americans. They traded with more cultures than Native Americans. Africans were slaves more often than Natives because they were being ship to Europe and the America's for the purpose of slavery. Europeans found free labor worthy of the Africans because they were slaves.

Both cultures were looked down upon because they were not of European decent they  they were inferior due to the European beliefs.

In my opinion there were small parts of the Native Americans that were developed. The Mayans and the Incas were very developed. They had written language, a calendar and a knowledge of astrology. They had large cities and roads with complex religions, some had human sacrifices. The tribes of the Mohawks, Iroquois, and the Senecas were not as developed as the Mayans and Incas but had a close relationship with each other and the earth. They did not want material items and the Europeans thought of them as childish. They were not fully equal but both cultures had slavery, war, and plunder. They both regarded hunting and fishing as a sport but also has a food source.
